8th Holiday PJ Drive for the Halton Children’s Aid Foundation

Let your inner elf out and help us collect and donate brand new cozy pj’s for the children in the care of the Children’s Aid Foundation.  We will be collecting new pj’s in all sizes (sizes to fit 10 -18 year olds are needed the most). Organize your hockey team, school class, book club or collect pj’s at your holiday cocktail parties!

Each year the CAS expects my LARGE delivery of pj’s just in time for Christmas.  These pj’s are used year round in the welcome packages delivered to each child.  They are greatly needed and appreciated!  Contact Robyn  (robyn@creatingspaceyoga.ca) if you would like to be an elf in your community. We will be collecting pj’s at Creating Space Yoga studio for the month of November and up till December 17th.

Lunch Box Food Drive!

For the month of September, we will be accepting non-perishable lunch box food items for our local food banks.  Providing healthy lunches for school age children should not be a stress for the families in our community.  Unfortunately for many, it is.  We hope to help by creating a month long back to school lunch box food drive for the children in our community who need a little extra support.

Some lunch box suggestions… juice boxes, tortilla wraps, granola bars, pudding cups, crackers, peanut butter, tuna fish, fruit cups, dried fruit, apple sauce and anything else you can dream up and find!

Another great idea are gift cards from our local grocery stores!!!
Thank you!  I had the joy of delivering 6 large bag of groceries to the local food bank.  I know that your efforts will be appreciated!!
